BoardPlanner
Privacy & Terms
BoardPlanner has no server, no accounts, and no analytics. Everything you enter stays in a local database on your device, and syncs only through your own private iCloud storage if you turn that on. We cannot see your cards, and there is nothing on our side to see them with.
Section one
Privacy Policy
What BoardPlanner does with your information, in plain language
BoardPlanner has no server, no accounts, and no analytics. Nothing you type is sent to us. We cannot see your cards, and there is nothing on our side to see them with.
What the app stores
Everything you enter, cards, titles, notes, dates, categories, projects, goals, is written to a local database on your device.
The app also stores four view preferences on the device: whether the board is filtered to today, whether done cards are hidden, your light/dark theme choice, and whether you have completed onboarding.
iCloud sync
If iCloud is enabled on your device, your data syncs through your own private iCloud database, under your own Apple Account. That transfer is between your devices and Apple; it does not pass through any system we operate, and we have no access to it. Apple’s handling of iCloud data is covered by Apple’s Privacy Policy.
Turning off iCloud for BoardPlanner in iOS Settings leaves the app working entirely on-device.
What we collect
Nothing. There is no account system, no analytics SDK, no crash reporter, no advertising identifier, and no third-party SDK of any kind. The app makes no network request other than Apple’s own iCloud sync. We do not track you across apps or websites.
Exporting your data
Settings → Export writes your whole store as a JSON file to the system share sheet. Where that file goes is your choice: once it leaves the app it is subject to whatever service or app you send it to, not to this policy.
Deleting your data
Deleting the app removes the local database. Data already synced to iCloud is removed through iOS Settings → your name → iCloud → Manage Account Storage → BoardPlanner. Because we hold no copy, there is nothing for us to delete on request.
Children
BoardPlanner is not directed at children and collects no personal information from anyone, including children under 13.
Changes
If this policy changes, the effective date above changes with it, and the current version is always the one published at this address.

Section two
Terms of Use
The agreement for using BoardPlanner
Installing or using BoardPlanner means you accept these terms. If you do not, delete the app.
Licence
You get a personal, non-transferable licence to use BoardPlanner on Apple devices you own or control, as permitted by the App Store Terms of Service. You may not resell, redistribute, rent, or sublicense the app, or reverse engineer it except where law says you may regardless.
Your data is yours
We claim no ownership of anything you enter. You are responsible for what you put in the app and for keeping your own backups: Settings → Export writes your whole store as JSON.
What the app does not promise
BoardPlanner is provided as is, without warranty of any kind, to the fullest extent the law allows. In particular it is not a backup service. Sync depends on iCloud and on Apple’s services; data can be lost through device failure, iCloud problems, deleting the app, or bugs. Do not rely on it as the only copy of anything you cannot afford to lose.
Australian Consumer Law. Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts or modifies any guarantee, right or remedy you have under the Australian Consumer Law that cannot lawfully be excluded. Our goods and services come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. Where we are permitted to limit our liability for a failure to comply with a consumer guarantee, we limit it to resupplying the app or paying the cost of resupply.
Otherwise, to the extent the law allows, our total liability for any claim arising from the app is limited to the amount you paid for it.
No accounts, no service
There is no BoardPlanner server or account. Nothing here entitles you to support, uptime, or continued availability, and the app may be updated or withdrawn from sale at any time.
Changes
If these terms change, the effective date above changes with them, and the current version is the one published at this address.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Australia. You and we submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the Australian courts.
